Façade replacement was designed and coordinated for a century old, 25 story office building in New York City’s Wall Street area. The condition of the original polychrome terracotta details, glazed brick exterior, and structural steel perimeter were assessed. Value engineering facilitated a reduction of over $12,000,000 in estimated costs; brickwork was salvaged where possible, and support walls were repaired. Following the institution of a multi-phase exterior restoration, the interior spaces were renovated for commercial office tenants.
